Our story

## Why Forge is made for beginners.

Lots of people want to get stronger and never start, because a weight room can feel like a place for people who already know what they’re doing.

Forge is for the other side of that: your first squat, the first time you pick up a kettlebell, the first week you come back for more. You don’t need to know a single lift before you walk in. We teach each one from the start.

Every class is coached. We show you the movement, explain how it should feel, and give you a lighter or simpler option whenever you want one. You train in a small group, so there’s company and a bit of energy in the room, but nobody sets your pace except you.

The goal isn’t to turn you into an athlete. It’s to make strength a normal part of your week: something you understand, feel safe doing, and look forward to.

What makes us different

## Strength training, minus the guesswork.

Four things you’ll notice in your first class at Forge.

### A beginner-friendly starting point

Classes start with the basic movements and build slowly. You learn why each step matters, not just what to copy.

### Coached, not just supervised

A coach watches how you move, gives you one clear cue at a time, and adjusts the weight or the exercise for you.

### Group classes, your own pace

You train alongside other people, but nobody is racing. Pick the option that fits how you feel that day.

### Strength you can keep

We stick to movements you can repeat week after week, so each class builds on the one before it.

How we coach

## Your coach’s job is to make it make sense.

Our coaches teach every group strength class with beginners in mind. They explain each movement in plain words, show it, then watch you try it.

If something doesn’t feel right, they change it: a lighter weight, a shorter range, or a different exercise for the same muscles.

They learn your name and what you want from training, and keep that in mind each time you come in.

They’d rather you leave a class feeling capable than sore and discouraged.

The best way to meet them is in a class. Book a trial and say hello.
